Yutongo.com is bringing global ideation crowdsourcing to everyone; Founder Sandro Morghen gives us a sneakpeek!
Cutting edge idea. Provide a crowd to help you source the best ideas. You can curate and play around with the ideas, to find the best ones. In the application, they help spur peoples ideas by cross pollinating the ideas.
How is Sandro going to find a crowd once the beta is launched.
Ideas are so intangible that it’s hard to wrap your head around the physical nuts and bolts, and details. Yutango helps you sink your teeth into this intangible kind of concept. Jeff and Amul were also incredibly impressed by the concept of the software and the amazing animation that so clearly broke down how Yutongo functioned for a user. You’re going to get a sneak peek into the product itself if you continue watching, and you don’t want to miss that!
(7:00) Meet Sandro Morghen, the founder of this incredible software. He and his partner analyzed their market and competitors very closely for the past two and three years. They observed a similar pattern many competitors followed, very contest based.
It’s expensive for buyers who are looking for these ideas. Content based mechanism may not be the best. Collecting of ideas.
(10:00) Each person who participates in the process is paid. The process is designed in a way so that a growing database is built. It’s a real collaborative product. The second goal of Yutongo is to really pay their customers based on their time.
People in companies have specific problems. Yutongo collects solutions and organizes them in a way that the most relevant ideas are presented to the user. They wanted to collect experience in a commercial test of their product.
Yutongo has a very unique approach, but separating a big idea into smaller sub-questions and idea fragments.
(22:00) The compensation for great ideas is charted through time. There are certain jobs, with a predetermined time span and goal. Paypal is automatically set up to pay the workers.
Many crowd source models don’t work, but Yutongo chooses it’s contributors carefully, and fine tunes it’s growing database of workable ideas.
(26:24) Sandro worked for a company for innovation services for 15 years. He was a creative director there, conducting over 600 products, ranging in size.
Yutongo is Sandro and his partners vision to “metrolize” the experience into a web application.
Get an exclusive taste of this amazing software.
(29:48) We follow Sandro as he gives us a walk through of how the submission process works. We’re asked to invent new flavors, think of funny inventive ways to open a bottle, and other great questions. In the second phase, fragments, pictures, and phrases cycle and switch out, and it helps the user brainstorm and find inspiration. It’s truly a very cool concept.
It’s amazing to see an innovative idea come into motion through hard work and perseverance. This interview with startup founder of Yutongo really captures the spirit of start ups.
(41:00) Some of Sandro’s upcoming big problems are getting subscribers, innovators, and customers. Yutongo is always wanting to gain feedback from a larger market. They are close to their commercial launch. Sandro is planning to contact companies from his own internal market, create a Google adwords for businesses, and a Facebook page for publicity. Sandro experimented a lot with different approaches to get free signups, and to come up with a marketing plan, which is currently still in the making.
We hope you enjoyed this cup, and learned more about crowd sourcing and Yutongo’s startup effort as well.
As always, remember to drop in and watch our live shows at 1pm, Standard Pacific time. We also love subscribers on our Youtube, and site visitors as well. Support and feedback from our viewers is always appreciated. Thank you for reading.
