Evelyn Zoubi and Jordan from Glan.se, Shazam for clothing and fashion
We talk to another great startup from the Plug and Play Tech Center, Glan.se with Evelyn and Mosab.
We learn how they started in the digital wardrope space and "pivoted" to their new product. Glan.se allows you to take a picture of clothing on your phone and then return a product link, or even a buy button within just one second!
Evelyn tells us why they moved from Jordan to silicon valley, and specifically an incubator where they're surrounded by other startups who can offer advice and skills you might need to overcome roadblocks. Mosab says they even get technical advice and help from the supportive local community including big guys like Google.
In search of advice, Evelyn was a part of the Tech Women program which is bringing women leaders from the Middle East and Africa to the United States. From there the Plug and Play Tech Center was an easy choice for being at the heart of technology.
Thank Glan.se for shaing their story by checking out their site and signing up for the beta!
